Unity Save & Load Scripts
2 free C# scripts 1 beginner1 intermediate Unity 2022.3+ MIT licensed
Unity gives you two easy places to save data, and these scripts cover both. The PlayerPrefs Save Helper wraps PlayerPrefs with type-safe methods for bools, vectors and colours, which suits settings and small values.
The JSON Save Utility writes any serializable class to a file in Application.persistentDataPath, which suits save games and anything larger. Both are static helpers, so you call them from your own code instead of adding them to a GameObject.
