Unity 6 Script Upgrade Checker

Paste a C# script and pick the version you are moving to. Every API that Unity 6.x made obsolete, removed or changed shows up below like a Console entry, with the fix for that version. Safe renames apply in one click. Your code never leaves the browser.

How the checker works

It reads your script for the API changes Unity documents for each 6.x release and reports the ones that apply to the version you picked. Renames such as velocity to linearVelocity are only reported when the script shows the object is a Rigidbody, because a CharacterController or NavMeshAgent velocity did not change. Comments and strings are ignored.

Fixes marked safe are mechanical renames that keep behaviour the same. Everything else, such as a render pass that needs RecordRenderGraph, links to a page with the before and after code and Unity's own documentation. The rules were last checked against Unity's documentation on 2026-10-05.
